Teasing My Menfolk

Today, I am taking a much needed me day. My daughter and I are heading out fairly early to get together with a couple of American geocachers. This outing was originally scheduled for November, but circumstances with my mother's health postponed the outing indefinitely. To assure that supper will be hot and ready when we return home, the crockpot needs to be filled. When I've finished my coffee, I will chop onions and peppers, adding tomatoes, ground beef and spices, before filling the rest of the crock pot with an assortment of beans. The men (my husband and my father) will be teased by the wonderful aroma all day. Crockpot chilli, the perfect meal to serve on a wintry day, when you will be away most of the day.
