5k 10k

Good morning everyone. I am training for a 5k in May. I would not say I am the healthiest person in the world or even the neighborhood. To those people who have ran a 5k or 10k. What kept you motivated? Any tips as far as finishing in 1 hour for the 5k?

I have no clue on how to advise you. I do admire your strength and get up and go. If I walked that far I would pat myself on the head. May? There should be time from now till then for you to work at getting stronger. I am thinking about driving West to a green area that I used to live in. I'd go around the end of April if I did. My big goal would be a poetry reading. While I am over there and have made a 5 hour drive to get there I might as well do some walking cause there are woodsy trails over there. Time for me to get to work so that I can!
