New washing machine and food poisoning

These two are not relevant, but they just happened on the same day, so I just thought of writing them together. Our old washing machine has served us for more than 10 years, and it's finally time for her to retire and rest well. We bought the same brand again, Toshiba, as we think it's quite reliable. The old washing machine was 6.5kg, and the new one is 9kg, so we can wash more laundry at a time. That means, I might not need to do the laundry every time, but just alternate day from now. I might have eaten something wrong on Sunday night, as I was vomiting quite badly and having diarrhea as well. Vomiting was quite suffering for me, as my belly was feeling the pain too. As I am pregnant, hence I didn't take any medicine. Glad that after an hour of one and off vomiting, I finally could fall asleep. But then diarrhea came to visit me, luckily it didn't cause my stomach pain and it was not so serious anymore. After a full day of rest, I feel much better now. It's so nice to feel well again. We were suspecting food poisoning, because my husband was having stomachache on the same day as well. Luckily the children were fine though they have eaten the same food we bought from outside. I think I'd try to avoid outside food for quite some time. Just to be safe. How was your weekend? Hope it was greater than mine.

Yes, it's worse during the pregnancy, as I felt like affecting the baby. Glad that I am alright now and I can still feel the baby moving actively, so he should be fine too.

I hope you are feeling better now! Glad your children did not get sick. The new washing machine will come in handy (bigger = more loads) so you can wash less frequently.

Thanks. I am feeling alright now. Yes, with more members added to the family, a bigger washing machine is more useful, especially when we have baby or young kids, they always dirty and always change the clothes. I am happy that now I can wash the baby's clothes easier.

@infatuatedbby I started to use cloth diapers for my second child, I only knew about that kind of cloth diapers at that time. I prefer to use cloth diapers though it requires more work for me, it saves more money and also is better for the child. I didn't use disposable diapers anymore for my second child as I love cloth diapers so much (except for the washing part ).

@kaka135 Glad to hear you are feeling better. Yes, kids need to be changed a lot so I can't imagine how much laundry you go through! Do you have in mind to use cloth diapers or disposable diapers? That will do a lot of laundry if you end up using cloth diapers too.

I'm sorry that happened to you, and it's a wonder that the children didn't get it.

I'm glad I am alright now. Yes, we do not understand why the children didn't get it as well, perhaps their immune system is better.

I am so glad to be healthy again! The new washing machine has bigger capacity, and now my son enjoys helping to do the laundry so much.
