The old regime of cooks baked chicken instead of frying i t and pieces like thighs and legs were served partly rare.It got very sick eating that so never again. Tonight was a repeat with most of the chicken under cooked. I will not eat the meat if it has streaks of pink in it.I know most commercially raised chickens are contaminated with germs so must be cooked until done.So I ate what was white and l eft the pink stuff. ashed potatoes and carrots. C anned peaches for dessert. I have been running a bit low blood sugar the last couple of days probably because some of the meals had less portions than usual.S o I have made it a point to eat all of my food unless liike the undercooked chicken its not good to eat. So to night I must go stand in line to get a free snack.I learned not to go down ti lalmost 7pmas no matter how long the line they will no serve til 7 straight up. I wish these young people had some idea of what i ts l iike to stand for a long time in a line when you are elderly and have arthritis in your knees. They are not the most sensitive group in the world. Why these young people wanted to run a retirement center is beyond me as they do not seem at all happy about it. Perhaps in time they might learn how to handle us elderly people but right now they could stand some lessons. lol lol
