I won't give her Diego back

I am in the middle of a big squabble with my son's so called girlfriend. She left here new year's eve and never called back, changed her phone number, blocked me off of her facebook. Her dog Diego stayed here. She said if we didn't take him she would have him put down. We took him. Now she wants him back, says it is her son's dog and he is taken him with him to New Brunswick. We told her no. The poor dog has separation anxiety and is shipped from one home to the next. Well he found his forever home with us. She called we didn't answer, she came to the door we didn't answer. She calls back leaves a message that since we won't be civil she is calling the police. She doesn't have a leg to stand on she gave us the dog. I am completely through with her. I don't even want to hear her name anymore. Talking about being civil. How she is acting is civil? The poor dog would go to New Brunswick, then they won't want him and he will be shipped somewhere else. The dog deserves to have a good home.

It's good of you to offer the dog a permanent home.

Poor dog, he should not be with the hands of that girl. There is no assurance that they will take of the dog. Only the boy wants the dog maybe as play mate. That girl will never treat the dog right. It is best that the dog stays with you.

She sounds like one piece of work... And yes do keep the dog ...... He would be uncared for and abandoned soon after she take him. That is what her attitude portrays

I am glad that you are keeping the dog as your family pet. No pet deserves to be bounced around from place to place. It does cause anxiety with some.

I hope you're able to keep that poor dog. No wonder he has separation anxiety.
