Its friday morning here and since i woke up it two hours here is power breakdown at our place.
Usually i press the clothes in morning but yesterdaylast night i ironed the school uniforms and hubbys office clothes.
I would have suffered badly if i had not done it last night.
Have you ever experienced like this?

No not unless we have a severe storm, otherwise we never lose electricity,

I hate power outages, it does not happen too often. The longest ever in history was for an entire day!!

Well, first of all I never realize you were female. We've experienced several power outages in our lifetime. Not so much growing up, which I never thought about before. But maybe that was due to there not being so many people/population.
The longest we've been without power was one week, but that was in the summer. A neighbor brought over a heavy-duty extension cord so we could plug our refrigerator into their power supply. We were the only ones in the neighborhood without power that time after a tornado went through the city. It only caused two trees on either side of the driveway to be overturned, but it was enough to cut our power. Nothing else was leveled in the city.
Two times we've been without power in the winter months. That's easier to keep foods cold, but the house stayed cold too. Once we were able to use the fireplace for a bit of warmth in that room alone. I don't remember the other time right now.
I hope it gets fixed soon for you and your family. And, yes it was good that you did that chore last night. Maybe God prompted you on that one?
