Saying Something,Meaning Something Else

' As long as you are alive, have a treasure of experiences and a memory, never say that your mind is blank and you can't start a discussion on Mylot.'Says my friend. He is right. We are always in a position to start a discussion no matter how trivial and insignificant the topic is.I think, when we complain of having a blank mind,we actually mean we don't know how to share our thoughts and experiences as impressively as we can.Do you agree?

I never have a lack of things to say - just ask my husband.

well occasionally I have literally had my mind go blank, but the majority of the time it is too many thoughts or I think what I have to say isn't worthwhile to others

@Jessicalynnt,You said,'is not worthwhile to others.' That's exactly what I sometimes think.Whenever I choose a topic and decide to initiate a discussion,my mind gets filled with doubt whether others would like it or not.

@Jessicalynnt Perhaps you are right.A like is a silent interaction. But I don't know if we are paid for likes.

Sometimes when you are angry, your mind is in a very creative mood. It is a fact of life that when we want to complain about something, we will always find more words than we should use.

@aju007,That's the problem with everyone who's not a native English speaker. My mother tongue is Hindi, and I can't express myself effortlessly in English.I have to think before saying something in this foreign language.

@gudheart,Like you,I,too, sometimes feel I lack an idea on which to write, but perhaps it's my mental fatigue that makes me feel so.I know I have a lot of ideas, but often I find myself confused as to how to start a discussion on them.

If I can't think what to write about I usually go through my photos and something will pop into my mind.

@JudyEv,I,unlike you, have always something in my mind to share, but sometimes I am left confused as to how to create a discussion from that idea. This happens, because English is not my mother tongue and I can't express myself effortlessly in this language.

@else34 I would have a lot of trouble writing in another language. I really admire the fact that you are able to do this. Hopefully it will be easier with practice.
