Teen stabs Mother to Death....

This is all the information that the news is giving out...
So a young girl Lisa Borch 15 years old decided with her boyfriend after watching alot of ISIS videos online to stab her mother to death.
Get this though she only gets 9 year sentence and the boyfriend gets 13 years do you think that is fair or wrong? Dont you think they should at least get the same punishment? I dont know what do you think? I dont know what to think here.
None of this makes since to me why kill the mother?

That was the girl in demark wasn't it?
Sentence doesn't overly surprise me as scandinavian countries place more weight on rehabilitation than incarceration.
Fairly recently the UK practice of jailing some people for the rest of their lives was challenged in the European Court of Human Rights but the defendant lost the case so will stay in jail.
Most EU countries don't have aywhere nears as strong sentencing laws as the US.

@hellopeeps that is horrible. You can disagree with parents but don't kill them. These kids should be in an institution until they are adults. Perhaps by then they will be smarter. I saw a real life drama about two teens who killed her mother. In this case they were older and if I remember she got life due to the fact that she was the one with the idea and forced the boyfriend to do it.

@hellopeeps I agree to a certain extent but some people need to be locked up forever to protect the community.

That would be neat here to have that rehabilitation than incarceration I think it does nothing in the end just locking someone up it is not punishment. People need to learn from mistakes and grow from mistakes as a person.

I have no idea what you are talking about the only thing i found was destiny garcia or something like that who killed her mother and her mothers bf but she didn't get 9 years and that happened around christmas. It had nothing to do with isis do you have a link to the story?

never mind i just found the story you are talking about he probably got more time for the stabbing and because he was older although them two should not ever see the light of day again. shameful how you can coldly kill someone and you get a slap on the wrist.

They should get the same sentence @hellopeeps . I'm sure the only reason the mom was killed is that the girl didn't like following household rules.
