It has finally happened and all of the snow has melted. If it wasn’t that January was just ending then I would have hopes of an early spring. However Groundhog Day hasn’t arrived yet and we don’t know what that little, fat creature will tell us. Another thing is that sometimes our winter here in Latvia in northern Europe can get really rough in February and even March. So as much as we now have warmer weather – the temps are no longer in the minuses it is of false comfort. The days at this time are all dark and gray and it kind of depresses. Underneath the snow the grass is green and the roads are muddy. All I can hope for at this time is that some sun peaks through and that a really big snowstorm doesn’t hit us once again. How is your weather?

Right now it's sunny and 58 here in CA. I think I'm going to throw on some shorts and take a quick cycle.

The snow we had is gone too and it's been in the high 50's. I'm hoping for an early spring too and supposed to get back to the 30's this week though

When I was a child December and January seemed the hottest months but now March is often a scorcher. The seasons seemed to have slipped back a month or two.
