A Creative Photo Idea

At a bar over the weekend while listening to a band. A friend and I started to mess around taking pictures with no real reason behind it. She was getting a little upset with how the flash on her phone was washing out the bottle she was taking a picture of.
I had an idea, something i've done before. I turned on the flash light feature on my ipod touch then sat my beer pitcher on top of it. It lit up the table like a soft light table lamp. It had a very "radioactive" glow style to it.
Everyone at the table was getting a kick out of it. To me, with the little bubbles floating straight to the top of the pitcher, reminded me of a lava lamp.
So, I present to you the end result- Beer Pitcher Lava Lamp. I did not take the photo, my friend did. I just set the props. She took another photo of her bottle also with my ipod touch underneath lighting the bottle. I may post that picture some other time.
Maybe this idea is of interest to someone reading. Try it! The darker the room, the better the glow. Light colored liquids light up really well.

@fishtiger58 - ive tried something similar once, but it was a glass figurine, it wasnt that good, because it was a very heavily frosted type of glass.

That's pretty nice, Plethos! I like that!
Uhhh... have you ever tried shining a laser beam through those gel bead air fresheners? That's pretty cool, too. The laser beam bounces around through the gel beads lighting them all up! The clear red colored beads seem to work the best!

@Plethos Yep! I bought several of those from the Dollar Tree and the $1 Shoppes! The Dollar Tree also carries those air freshening beads I mentioned! (I wasn't sure if you had those stores or I would have told you that when I wrote my reply above...)
Oh! If you didn't know, don't buy those little round batteries at Wally World, either! Go to the Dollar Tree and find some of the little toys, like flashlights or cars that have that size battery in them. You pay $4.99 for three of the LHR batteries at Walmart or get six of them for 99 cents at the Dollar Tree! But only purchase the ones packed in with the toys! The ones in the blister packs are trash!
