Have you deleted the links to your posts on dead and dying sites yet?

The imminent closing of Persona Paper means that the many links I've made to my posts that live on blogs, web pages, and other content sites need to be deleted. I'm afraid that means images from Persona Paper and even some still there from Squidoo need to be removed from Pinterest. Wherever a dead link lives now, it's ruining your credibility. Do you still have links you need to remove to posts on sites that have died living somewhere in cyberspace?

I have seen a lot of discussions started about this site closing. I wasn't really aware of this site at all; in fact this is the first I am hearing about it. Too bad though, if it was a site that generated you some sort of income. Hopefully you find another similar one. I feel like a lot of my favorite survey and GPT sites have closed down over the past few years. I took a couple year hiatus and came back to see half of them missing - deleted - closed down, whatever - except for the major ones like MyLot. Always a bummer when that happens.

I'm through with joining new sites. I have more than enough to keep me busy on HubPages and my blogs. For fun and communicating I have Facebook, Tsu, and MyLot. What's on my own sites can't close without warning unless the web host goes out of business.

That was a friendly site and too bad it went under. I think that I do have a lot of "housecleaning" to do regarding links to sites that have gone away. What a lot of work that is going to be...not sure I even know where to start.

@bagarad One reason I have not been here for a while is that I am spending a lot of time on my mobile phone using apps that generate mPoints (not to be confused with MyPoints) -- especially mPlaces. They are so fun and I am cashing out with those every week, YAY.

@drannhh I simply can't work on mobile devices with that tiny keyboard and screen. I find my tablet very hard to use -- even with the keyboard I bought for it. It's too small. Are you still playing golf? How is your friend? I have wondered.

It's job, for sure. Are you still active online anywhere but here?

I'm not really sure about all this. I had a few links on Bubblews posts but not going back the other way. At least I think that is the case.

I really haven't. I started doing some deleting when Helium.com closed. I've deleted a few of my favorites from Bubblews. Unfortunately, I have tons of posts on Pinterest and several writing sites. It's such a daunting task but I really should delete at least the Pinterest ones.

It is a big job. I have two accounts and I just have to take it one board at a time.
