Should i stay or should i go?

I am trying to decide if I should go to get my eye checked out. Last night just before I went to sleep, I felt my eye get goopy. It was bright red and goopy when I woke up in the middle of the night and this morning. But since my shower, it isn't as red or goopy. But it feels off. It isn't itchy or painful, just slightly sore. I really don't want to drag my son with me and wait at the urgent care for hours, but I also don't want to damage my eye. I will see how it is tonight and go after the kids are in bed.

Hope your eye is better but if not, then it might be wise to make a trip to urgent care.

I am going to go. I need to get my son seen as well as his cough just keeps hanging on and it has really affected both of us.

Could be pink eye, although now you said it isn't goopy strange.

I do find it odd that the goopiness is gone, but it is still pink.

A touch of conjunctivitis, perhaps? I'd let a professional take a look at it, a doctor, nurse it pharmacist.

I clean it with sterilized warm water and a cotton pad. It usually cleans up and I rarely need to go to the urgent care.

I cleaned it up with a warm wet cloth(clean of course). Apparently pink eye has been going around at the school.
