Surprise party & my father is back from vacation

Saturday my kids and I went to a surprise party for my late husbands half brothers 13th birthday party. It was cute when he walked in because everyone yelled surprise and he kind of looked around for a minute like whats the surprise. Then his face turned really red and he broke out in a big grin.
I attached a photo of the lego themed cake his Aunt made for him. She does amazing cakes as you can see.
As we got home from the party my father got home from Florida. He had been there for about 3 weeks on vacation with a friend. He brought us all back souvenirs. It is chilly here I would much rather be on the beach in Florida but I guess he is just homesick.
Sunday (yesterday) he had us meet him and my sister and her children at a Chinese Buffet and then we went to Chuck E Cheese after. My son told me it was a really fun day. It was all compliments of my dad. What a great guy to deal with a crazy place filled with kids just for all the kids to have fun.

That sounds like a nice Surprise Party for the 13 year old boy! The cake looks amazing too! Chuck E Cheese sounds fun too!!

That is so nice of your Dad to treat you all.
That is a really nice cake for a 13 yr old boy.
