Oh gosh, not another bus journey post?

Having established that much of my life is spent travelling on buses, it comes to my attention that it's all I'm able to talk about.
Well, buses and the ghost in the toilet cubicle at work, young Weeing Wendy.
So, here's another post about my bus journey.
I have a tendency to fall fast asleep on the bus. Not just a micro-nap, the sort which sees you close your eyes for seconds, only to jerk suddenly awake looking like an imbecile. No. This is the sleep of the Dead. And it always happens the same way. I get my phone out and play some games. My bag is on the seat next to me, its strap wrapped around my arm lest anyone should feel the need to run off with it. I don't feel myself go. I just wake up half an hour down the road {sometimes less, sometimes more} with my phone still in my hand, halfway through a game.
Anything could happen and I wouldn't know. This is only recent behaviour. Perhaps I'm just getting old. Maybe I should start reading and stop playing.
Somewhere on the World Wide Web there is probably a photo {or two} of me, fast asleep on the bus. Mouth open, dribble running down my chin ... Yikes!
I need to stop sleeping on buses. I'll be getting me a reputation.
*sigh*

No, my stop is the last one anyway, but I'm always awake two or three villages beforehand. :)

I love your bus stories, although I'm not sure about the naps

That's why I always make sure my bag strap is attached to me! It would be impossible for anyone to steal it, or anything inside, without me knowing. Or other people on the bus spotting it. I hope!

I do try not to dribble in public. It isn't very ladylike. ;)

There used to be a chap on the bus who snored very loudly. I'd like to think that if I was snoring it would wake me up!

I sleep like that when I am in a vehicle and my husband is driving. Without a doubt it would also happen on a bus. I have not ridden one in ages, though.
