In some companies never offer training for safety in the workplace, this is a bad sign of mismanagement. With this kind of scenario, you need to think twice before joining the company. If not, you can have the liberty to suggest to the management. Most of the colleagues are too busy doing their job’s taskes and never take attention for safety rules. When I was working in a government agency, we were able to attend safety training and learned the basic safety tips to keep the working place safer. That includes organizing the furnitures and keep the unnecessary ones. The main rationale is to have spacious place for the employees to mobilize oneself. In the first place, the usual cause of traumatic accidents are secondary to carelessness.
In addition, fire drill should be incorporated in the working place. It is a drill that the employees and staff practice the best way of leaving the office building through the fire exit after the emergency alarm went off. In some point, we need to prioritize safety than taking belongings in the premises and leave the building as calm as you can. Moreover, a standby fire extinguisher should in a fixed place where the employees can easily see it. What do you think? Do we need to ask our company to have such training?

@nishinski It is the basic requirement for a company to provide extra training for their employees. I do hope your company has this kind of concerns.
