A Zoo Poem

Inspired by @jaboUK zoo poems, I decided to give one a shot; although it won't be near as good as hers.
As you all know, @nanette62
pretty much runs a zoo.
12 indoor cats, but not just that
2 cats outside who play and hide.
Then there's the 3 donkeys
who are lively and spunky.
Not to mention the raccoons
who will show up at noon.
Then there's the opossums, coyotes and hares,
thankfully so far, there have been no bears.
Still, there are the wild hogs and stray dogs,
not to mention the pond filled with frogs.
Birds of every gender, color and size,
it's enough to make you cross your eyes.
Red, green, yellow and blue,
yep, @nanette62 runs a very large zoo.

Why thank you @jaboUK . It does, doesn't it (describe)? I could probably put a real zoo on this property. Oh no: Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!!
