Road Rage

One of my friends on Facebook "re-shared" a news article of a local witness who had a dash camera recording and posted the video onto YouTube.
Essentially the video was about "road rage". A driver was upset because the car ahead took a little longer at the 4-way stop sign. But who knows, it could be road rage from before but all that was shown on the video was one side of the story. Regardless, the driver who had road rage kept honking than later when the driver had the opportunity to cut in front of the car (he was mad at), he kept brake checking the car. Eventually both cars were side by side and confronted each other. And, it went on until threats came out which was recorded on the dash camera from a witness interfering.
Mistakes happen when it comes to driving, especially when you're unfamiliar with the road. I have to admit, I do get awfully upset when drivers do not know what they are doing but I myself would never "road rage" or want to cause any accidents for that matter. I will use my horn though!

I haven't had tried this kind of scenario. If it happens, I would take other actions by asking an assistance from a policeman. It will not be resolved instantly, there should be a person who take-in-charge in between the people involved in a road rage.

I somehow upset some lady on the interstate...going 80 miles an hour, mind you, and she braked suddenly in front of me then speed off. I am so glad I was paying enough attention to slam on my breaks and not rear end her. To this day I am still not sure what I did to upset her

I agree, there is always two sides of the story. One time a car braked suddenly in front of my boyfriend/I also. I am not quite sure the reason, perhaps his car is louder than usually. Did it scare that car? No idea, but his car is completely stock. Sometimes people are having a bad day and they like to distract their bad day or even problems on others.

@T_gray I know, it is dangerous! I try to stay away from those crazy drivers who take their anger on the road instead of dealing with their own problems.

@infatuatedbby you could be right, they could be having a bad. One tiny thing could upset them and they could take it out on me. Dangerous though!

Honestly I think that as long as it goes no further then giving the bird and honking the horn? Ok. Dash cams are a good idea but like you said sometimes it only tells one side of the story. People need to realize that it's more important getting there in one piece than it is to get there fast.

I agree! I even read on the news on violent ones (each as accidents, fights, shootings even)!

Wow! I did not know if you used your horn for no reason you're fine. Is there a lot of police in your area to give those tickets?

@infatuatedbby Yes, there is a lot of police in our area, because we live near the border with Italy, there is the police and the border patrol, they can also give tickets.

Road rage is terrible here, there are some people who took it too far and there were some fatal incidents. I just drive patiently and just give these guys a 'peace sign'. I've had my share of very angry drivers.

Road rage is very dangerous can could cause accidents, deaths, etc. I do get mad, but I'll keep it inside my car only and don't got to the extreme like some people do. Especially men, they want to show who's "boss".
