Personal Challenge: Letter H

I wanted to go ahead and post this, because I wanted to keep up with the challenge. At the time that I first wrote this and put it in my documents, I was still keeping my eye on the news from France. That’s what was on my mind, as I was thinking about the tragedy there. This time it’s not a weather related disaster or an earthquake or tsunami, but its’ definitely a disaster to think that all those people died and some are injured and in critical condition. My heart goes out to the families of all those who have been killed and injured. So very sad that such a thing could happen. The world is experiencing many terrible things right now. It is definitely “critical times, hard to deal with.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 So, I had saved this in my documents and forgot about it, and found it today so I will go ahead and post it now. My favorite animal starting with the letter H: Hummingbird. I fed them all summer, but now they are gone from my yard. Last night it was in the 20s, so winter is on its way. I hope my little hummingbird friends are headed South for the winter. My favorite color: Hunter Green or Henna. These are Fall colors. I love Hunter Green because I don’t really look good in a bright green, but Hunter Green is more subdued and Henna is a rusty brown color. Both nice Fall colors. Favorite vegetable: Horseraddish: It will clear your sinuses, so must be eaten in small doses. Hah! Favorite novel: “Huckleberry Finn.” I listened to this novel from an audio recording while driving several years ago and enjoyed it very much. Favorite famous person: Hezekiah, one of the GOOD kings of Israel, from the Bible.
