How Do You Know The Joshua Tree

Have you ever been to the Joshua tree forest in Arizona between Wickenberg and Wickiup or Kingman, AZ.
Joshua trees are to the Mojave Desert what saguaros are to the Sonoran huge, perfectly adapted endemic plants that live nowhere else in the world.
On this route visitors can see saguaros standing next to Joshua trees, the breathtaking union of two harsh, lovely deserts.
They can live for as long as 300 years.
The scenic parkway is a part of the winding and hilly route between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Most Vegas-bound travelers hurry down this road dreaming of jackpots and not noticing the beauty and historic charm of the drive.
It is breathtaking to see.

I am sure I saw Joshua trees when I was a kid. I think we even lived in Wickenberg, Arizona for awhile. I know we once lived in Phoenix. The Joshua belongs to the yucca family. It likes to live in arid places.
Did you ever see a mesquite tree? My brother and I ate mesquite beans once. I would not recommend it.

@sgbrown I never lived in El Paso but spent a lot of time there, not sure why. I remember there was a park in the middle with two alligators in a pond. We once lived in Midland also. Mesquite beans are terrible. Once we boiled up a bunch of grass and tried to eat it. I don't know which was worse.

That picture is amazing so it would be even more amazing to see it in person. Looks like a peaceful place to sit and chill for a bit too actually.

@VivaLaDani13 It being a desert area would mean LOTS of heat. That's the only bad thing about it.
