Wondering what would it be like if myLot turned into a writing site.

The other day I was reading various comments and I read somewhere with some writers coming over here from personapaper will this change myLot. I like the interactions on what I write, but wouldn't it be nice to write articles besides just ideas about subjects. As I said I want to share very short to short articles as I have been doing on the other sites I wrote for in the past and currently. In other words would it be that bad.

I don't think there's any rule to say that you can't write proper articles, just couch them in such a way that people have something to respond to.

That's true, I had a little trouble adjusting to not asking questions and learning to write discussion-inducing posts.

I like the idea. I never wrote for Persona Paper, never heard of it til I landed here. I did write for Helium, Yahoo, Bubblews and assorted other sites on the web.

I was on all of those and from personal experience Persona Paper pays absolutely nothing.

I'd like to see a variety of writing including some fiction.

I think you can already if you really wanted to. It all depends on what you are expecting to come from it.

You can do that here if that is what you like. There is no rule against it.

I have noticed though if you just write a long short story or poem here, you do not get many reads, likes, or responses. Most people I feel are wanting to discuss, some issue, and respond to it. It is more about their own response, rather than them taking time out to read a long piece about something hard to discuss because of its abstractness, etc.

It could be like it is now?

That would be a welcome change, I think.
