It's Ten O'clock Here in Virginia

United States

I can't watch the news, so I'm going to go to bed. I've been here on the computer for several hours, trying to catch up on responses. Tomorrow, I will wait for the cable guy and hope my son can be here when he arrives. I actually took a nap earlier this afternoon, so I'm not that sleepy. But, I can go on to bed and read a while. It's VERY cold outside, but I don't know what the temperature is, since I can't watch the weather channel. I have my pellet stove on and will leave it on all night. I just turned on my electric blanket to warm up my bed, so I will say "Good Night!" I don't have any reason to get up early tomorrow and no errands to run, but if it's cold, I really don't want to go anywhere anyway. Someone said something about snow tomorrow, so school might be cancelled and I can spend some time with my grandson. He might have time to help me figure out some ways to get my photos scanned.

Yes, there is a big difference in our time and the UK. My friend just left for Hawaii this morning. She will be living there for three years with her husband who is in the military. I'm going to miss her and her daughter so much. I really got to know her this past year and I hated to see her go, but she had to go. Hawaii time will be very different from ours also, so we will communicate mostly by Email. I remember going to Hawaii and traveling west that far, really affects your body. Major jet lag. I've also been to London, same thing, only in a different direction entirely. By the time we got to Spain I was so tired.

I did get a good night's sleep and was able to sleep in some this morning. I don't have anything on my agenda today, except to do some laundry and cleaning the house. AND the cable guy is coming to fix the TV. I'm not getting a signal for some reason.

@IreneVincent Hope he gets the signal fixed. How are you enjoying your remote control?

Yep, it would be much earlier for you on the west coast. I've never been to Oregon, but have always wanted to go there. I've been to most other states. It's 10 AM here now.

Good luck with the scanning. It would be good if you can come to some solution.

Well, it didn't snow, so my grandson went to school, but he gets home around 2PM. The cable guy is supposed to be here between 3 - 5 PM, to fix the TV. I haven't been able to watch any TV since Saturday. Except for Monday evening I really haven't missed it that much.
