FaceBook's offer for free internet service has lost a battle in India after a 9 month debate. Many forces joined hands in this battle. This is the first that I have heard about the offered service, but it seems quite absurd to prevent a company from giving away free facilities.

It was a nine month debate There were issues that were in favour of banning this facility.

We do not have Internet services via Facebook in our country, Facebook is not authorized.

That's one more country then although claims are made that only India has banned them.
