Flower Festival In My City

This month of February, it is whole round month to celebrate our very own festival. Our festival is known as “Panagbenga” or Flower Festival. The local people showcased the different ways of crafting these freshly pick flowers around the city. This morning, I decided to tour around the city and had seen these sample landscape with flowers in the local park. It is so very nice to see such creations by the local people. Tourists from different places are starting to flock in the city. As expected, more people will visit my city to witness the flowers float parade.

You're from Baguio? There will be a lot of tourists coming in for the festival, and also to probably enjoy the cold weather there.

The flowers are beautifully set. Happy Fiesta! I wish I could go to Baguio. I am waiting for the time they chose your city for team building.

@Shavkat nope. In BPO. They all like to go swimming which I don't like. I've never been to Baguio, this is one of my dream city to visit specially in summer.

Some of my friends or people i know are already there to enjoy, we always went to Baguio when my dad was still with us, he speaks the local Ilocano as well as Pangasinan dialects, I really missed the place, wish I could go back some day if time afford me.

@louievill That would be nice. If you have the chance, take it is a get away place for your family. I can speak these dialects you had mentioned.

I went there during the festival but not during the weekends when they had the streetdancing and fluvial parade. I was also there during the Session Rd in bloom.
