Adding Ornaments

I have a Handel aria that I use as my warm up aria--Di Cor Mio--Right now, I am adding vocal ornaments to the second A section. These arias come in ABA form--
I am listening to an old Joan Sutherland recording--on youtube---I would post it here for your listening pleasure, but I don't think we can post videos.
She makes it sound so easy--a beautiful, clear and easy placement

In opera, the recitative feels a lot like "talking" --it tells us what has happened to the character. The aria--or song, tells us how the character feels about what has happened--they are full of emotion--Handel was a composer --a contemporary of Bach's

ok @divalounger but now I'm even more confused. Ma used to drag us to the operetta's that they'd play on Ft Bliss way back in the 1960s and I've had to endure Madam Butterfly and Ieda or is it spelled Aieda, you know, the one about an egyptian woman entombed alive and finds her lover hid in there with her. Quite morbid if ya ask me.

Too morbid for me @divalounger I'd rather hear happy music which to me is mostly rock n roll ..... I can dance to that so it's happy to me.
