promises from a rainbow

I doubt many people saw the rainbow. I saw it, as I walked from the bus stop to Costa. It brings promises of a delightful day and happiness. Spring-like sunshine, coupled with the cold frost of a winter's day, create happy folk who skip and smile into work. I may be exaggerating.
My fingers are a trifle chilly. But my heart is warm and hopeful today. And my belly is full of skinny hazelnut latte. Yum.
Off I go ... a Baby Niece craves my company. Or, I crave hers.
*smile*

I can understand why people used to think there was treasure!

I was first attracted to the sky this morning by the most unusual and beautiful slate blue cloud against the morning sunlit trees. Then, as I looked, veils of white like a chiffon blowing in the wind appeared.
I doubt that it was the same rainbow but I saw a partial one with the most fairy-like clouds this morning. It was actually snow falling in the morning sunshine being twisted around by the winds at that height and then, as the snow melted as it fell, there was a partial rainbow. I took a photo but don't know whether it was any good. When I have downloaded it and inspected it, I'll post it here if it's worth posting.

I imagine it may have been the same one. I took my picture at about eight o'clock and there were tiny little ice drops in the air. :)

Hope you had a great time with your niece. Do you have a Costa loyalty card ? I have just had mine and wondered what you get with the points you get ?

The points all add up and you can spend them on drinks/food. They add up quite quickly, too.

Love it, Elizabeth. I haven't seen a rainbow in a couple of years. The last one I saw was faint and had a double arch.
