In my neighborhood, there are mynah birds, green parots, regular birds, crows, pigins and more. The twits are so nice to hear and I like listening to them. The mynah birds are incredible with their twits, they can make sounds that remind me UFO language. The morning just calls me to go out to the street and walk in the sun, listen to them and whisper too. Maybe the mynah birds will imitate me :-) This is a lot better than twitter, ah ?

I would like to learn it just as a hobby. It will be nice to walk out in the street, getting information about the surroundings without having to look around, I'ts like listening to salsa music while I dance in the salsa club and understand all the words of the song. So far, I don't understand Spanish. It spices up the life. :-)

I love listening to the birds. We haven't had many around this winter, but I did see some robins last week and as spring approaches, we will have a lot more. Love to hear them singing when I wake in the morning.

Thank you, Anne, I guess you are a type of the morning, the songs don't bother you early in the morning. Birds are like little angels, fairies, they sing out their magic and it has a good effect on us.

It must be lovely to hear such birds in the wild. Sadly we do not have so many birds in the UK now but I love to see them when I go abroad.

Maybe it's the weather that keeps the birds away. Don't you see any birds in the sky or on the trees ? Maybe you can listen to birds on youtube and look for the mynah bird. Maybe you will notice you have already seen one or two...

@stringer321 Birds are becoming a rarity in the UK. We can see them in the countryside but not often near cities apart from pigeons.

Birds and all animals amaze me. I love to interact with the osprey in Florida and the other birds here and at home. I have a friend who lives on a kibbutz in Israel.

I see a couple of videos of an osprey hunting fish. I see a video called - osprey love nest - and the osprey makes some sound. Cool bird, they are big and can lift up bass and dive into the water. I birds would come close to me, sing to me. The kibbutz is a nice place with good working people. I don't know much about living in a kibbutz because I live in a city.

@stringer321 I am fascinated by the osprey and have read everything I can about them. I love their calls and sweet little voices. My osprey is the only one in the area who chirps. I love it when he calls his sons to fish with him. My nephew loves Israel. I'm a little afraid of visiting.

Me too. No forum can reflect the soul of the singing birds, not even twitter. Does any bird come to your window and twit ? It happens to me once in a while, the birds come to the window between the blinds or just park on the blinds and twit. That's so cool. I wish I could understand them and talk with them.

@stringer321 Our song birds are small like robins, wrens, chickadees, sparrows. Then the crows and magpies make a lot of noise too. I hear them when I am working in the garden or sitting on the deck.

Its great that you still can hear the chirping of birds . At my place its rare to be heard as there are just buildings one can see, no trees at all.

In India ?! I had the impression that India worship the nature. Isn't the cow a holy animal there ? Can you please upload a photo of your neighborhood ? Maybe I will see some buildings that will surprise me.

Twitter has it's own small place in my life. I started using twitter a long time ago, but, I found it boring... I use facebook most of the time. Twitter... nahh... Maybe if I'm really bored. :-) Don't you find the twits of the birds interesting to listen ? Maybe you can see how they fly around, what they do... ?

@stringer321 would definitely be better to hear the birds singing and watch them flying.
