I Wish My Children Were Still Small

So I could cuddle and rock them once again. See the funny things they do. Hear excitement in their voices over the small things in life. The laughter and giggles. See them jump, run, twirl and bounce about.
Tuck them in at night, read a story and creep from the room as they are going to dreamland. Wait to hear the sounds of sleeping, then sneak into the kitchen for some snacks!

My 2 sons are grown but I so agree with you. I wish they were little guys again.

@fishtiger58 They go through stages and phases as a part of growing up. At the beginning we are everything to them, then they move away from us. There comes that "mom does not know anything" phase that luckily doesn't last forever and they once again think you do know. My son is in that stage right now and I can't wait for him to be over it. LOL

Children are the cutest things. They generate so much laughter in us adults because of their innocence. I always enjoy their silly drawings and how they express their love towards us adults.
