Getting up earlier for productivity

Just recently I listened to a great TedTalk that was about this professor who decided to start waking up at 4:30am every morning for 21 days straight( the time he says it takes to form a habit). He said that getting up really early allowed him to get a lot done before anyone else was even awake yet. There seemed to be more hours in the day and he felt more accomplished by the end of the first week.
After hearing this, I wanted to try it out myself. About 2 weeks ago I began to get up early just like the professor and I too noticed a difference in my own life. I found myself getting ahead on work projects, chores in the house, and even watching a few favorite TV shows here and there to get my day started.
Give it a try and let me know if you have the same benefits!!!

I am a morning person and so I too get up early. After a night's rest one is ready for the day.

I don't get up quite that early but I am usually up between 5am-8am depending on how tired I am and when my daughter eats. But I find in doing this I actually get some personal time before she starts to get too fussy or we have to go out and do things.

I will have to try this!I know during the summer months I petsit for a cat, and need to be up by 5:30am to give it's insulin shot. But during the winter months I can usually sleep in.
