How do I delete messages?

@askalice My messages are getting out of hand. I have them from the beginning. I can delete different parts of them but how do I get rid of the whole thing? I just want to clean up my board. Any of these people can message anytime and I will answer.

If you delete all the message from the user, when you refresh the page the icon of that user will not show up anymore.

I did not refresh the page. I will have to check today because I cleared the browsing data. Maybe the old messages are gone. Thanks for that information.

Delete each section of the message, and then the main message will be gone

Thanks, I did that but the main one is still there. But it has been that kind of day on the Internet. Will give it another go tomorrow.

My messages are all still there, even the parts I thought I deleted. It is really a mess and I don't know what to do.

You have to delete each section of a message to make the whole thing go away
