I Feel Guilty When I Have A Lazy Day

I couldn't get motivated to do anything today. I didn't clean or cook and produced very little writing. I did do some research but even that I did in a scatterbrained way. I just hung out, played with the dog, watched television. Now that it's evening, I feel so guilty. I do hate wasting a day accomplishing nothing. I always feel better when I get things done.
Do you like lazy days?

We all deserve a lazy day every once in awhile. You will make up for it tomorrow, just enjoy the laziness while you still can.

@suziecat7 Onward and Upward as the saying goes. As I said, we all need our "lazy days".

We all need our lazy days. Nothing wrong with that.

No, nothing wrong but it doesn't feel right either.

@suziecat7 I'm retired so I often have days like that and never feel guilty lol. That's the way of retirement. Way wonderful.

When you work full time it's tough not to relax on your days off.

You're probably right - we just need it sometimes.

I don't have many lazy days because I also like to be productive.

Yeah, lazy days. I've had more than a few. I think we all need one every now and then. I don't feel as guilty now days as I used to.

As of now I need lots of it..
i feel good when I make many accomplishments in a day but right now, i feel so exhausted, seems like I don't have time to rest or even eat... I'm happy that at this very moment I'm here trying to catch up coz I have been working offline for the past couple of weeks..

I work only three days a week at an outside job then I work from home on the off days. I think you sound like you need a rest (or maybe a vacation).

Me too - there's always something that needs to be done - shame to waste time.
