Arnold H. Glasow said: “Make your life a mission – not an intermission.”
Having a “mission” in life will make your life more meaningful. You will always have goals to meet and a future for which to look forward.
Too many people simply live from day to day and week to week, month to month and year to year without having any kind of a plan. At the end of their life, they wonder where the years went and why they did not reach out for more. Others are satisfied completely.
It doesn’t have to be a plan so big that it would be almost impossible to achieve. It could simply be to have a happy marriage, happy children and a happy life. That is definitely a wonderful goal and completely possible, but it still requires EFFORT. Unfortunately, some persons don’t want to make that effort and they give up too soon.
Other persons have bigger dreams and aspirations, like being President or a Star athlete or an Award Winning actor or musician. Nothing wrong with those goals either, but they all require effort and determination.
What do you think?

That's for sure. Everyone needs to plan for the future and then work the plan for the best results.

My mission in life or goal you could say is to move to Okotoks, Alberta. It is my favourite place in the world and I have hopes that one day I will move out there. That is, if my significant other is willing to go with me.

I wondered what was so special about Okotoks for you? I'm going to research it.
