My friends and I went on a hiking spree during one fine afternoon last week. We headed northward and traveled almost 3 hours to reach our destination. But that was just the starting point. We had to travel by foot to reach a remote place where my friend’s relative lives. Along the bushy trail we saw these little pitcher-like plants that caught our attention. My friend said that during rainy days or early morning, whenever they see such plants, they can actually drink the water inside these little pitchers. My friend picked some of it then handed it us. I was a bit scared to try but she said that it was safe to drink. We drank the content and yes the taste of the water is so refreshing that I drank one more. Truly, nature is really a good provider.

In Australia we call this 'bush tucker'. There is a lot of 'food' in nature if you know where to look.

@JudyEv I really like to try everything that we considered fresh and untouched nature.

Wow! I did not know that there are pitcher plants where one can drink safe water from. Interesting.

@nottoooldwrite It is really amazing. At first, I don't want to try it. Eventually, I was convinced by the local people to try it.

@Lucky15 I had tried a couple of times. I've been monitoring community projects there before.

I would love going on that hike and finding that. I suppose there are plants here that collect water; I have never looked for that.
