I have found all sorts of stuff while cleaning out corners of my house. Some examples are a pile of cards with addresses and stamps, but never sent. Also, an unopened bottle of mouthwash, a package of allergy pills, a cable slave(whatever that is), a dead lizard, a huge hunk of mystery hair, and a coupon from 2002. What have you found?

When we first bought this house, we were cleaning before moving in and we found a live bat in a cardboard box. We carried him out poured him onto the sidewalk and he flew away. Creepy.

That is interesting. I wonder who was keeping a bat in a box. Glad he was okay.

@akalinus Apparently the house was empty for over a year. I think he got in somehow, it's an old house.

I came across my box of old movie tickets not too long ago when I was cleaning. It was fun looking at all the old movies I had seen.

I found antique binoculars made from brass with a pearl-like veneer. I'm sure we acquired these from my in-laws after they passed away. These still work pretty well.

@akalinus the most interesting thing I ever found is a pile of coins inside the heater vents. Someone must have been using them as a bank.

Do you have a child in the house? They do strange things. Maybe thought it was a slot machine. One of mine tried to toast a cheese sandwich in the VCR.
