Matching with your Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Wife/Husband, Partner, Signifiant Other

I don't know about you - but I think in everyone's stage of relationship there's the "cute" stage probably within the first few months to a year. Where you'll be on the phone all the time, surprises here and there, "matching of clothes", and so forth. Fast forward 9 years - the least thing my boyfriend would want is to match. Though we do match unintentionally a few times. Any of you did the matching with your boyfriend/girlfriend, wife/husband, partner, significant other, or even friends? Back in the days - I would match with my friends too (not only for twin day) but in general we'd tell each other let's match and take pictures! Photo attached is just some boots we wore. I had Timberland's on and he has Lugz. And we still both have these boots too til' this day - ha! We haven't worn them since.

I never wanted to wear clothes like my boyfriend did. Any of them LOL I like the hunky, masculine types and I never looked good in such clothing myself The early stage in a relationship is sometimes referred to as "the honeymoon stage". When every thing is sweet and everyone is kind to the other.

Like matching as in he wore plaid, and you have your plaid shirt. Or like he wears blue and you wear something blue. Oh yes, honeymoon stage ... then after that mark it's a different story. You'll get honeymoon stages once in a while or at least - that's where reality hits.

That's cute , you both wear similar shoes , or is it just the same color ? Hubby and i sometimes wear the same color of shirt whenever we go out . But that was unintentional though .

THe only time I ever matched with a partner was our wedding. We both wore red shirts, I didn't want a dress.

I never did the match thing, nor was I flattered when my friends bought the same outfits I had. Sometimes, my husband and I wind up wearing the same colors, unintentionally.
