Humans Have Nothing On Animals

One of these days, we're learning that animals can be better than us.
2015: Golden Retriever guide dog Figo threw himself in front of an oncoming bus to save his blind owner Audrey Stone. Figo took most of the blow and sustained serious injuries to his leg but he refused to leave the side of his owner even as paramedics arrived to provide medical care for them. Stone suffered injuries to her elbow, ankle, ribs and head. At the time of the accident, she kept screaming Figo's name while her dog kept flopping over to her. The bus driver was issued a summons for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
2016: Jenny Deakin and her Papiloon cross Lily-Rose were watching television late one night when Deakin choked on a Rich Tea biscuit. Deakin was unable to breathe and couldn't cough again to dislodge the food stuck in her throat. She recalled Lily on the sofa staring at her before she went unconscious on the floor. Lily jumped straight onto Deakin's stomach, causing her to cough and dislodge the food. Before Lily came into her life, Deakin was bullied in school, isolated and didn't have many friends.
Our pawed pals saved lives, a feat that most will never achieve in their lifetime.
This makes us ponder, can animals actually be better than us?

Yes, animals are amazing because they never stop surprising us with miraculous acts of bravery and selflessness. I love them too!

In certain circumstances, I do feel that dogs display greater levels of humanity than humans.

Aw! Animals are so sweet. I've read a lot of stories throughout the news before - how animals even ran away to find their owners. Or protect their owners, etc. Very loving animals!

@Ladypeace That is very nice - your dog barked to notify you there are bad people outside. Keeping you guys safe.

They're! Many years ago late at night my Australian Terrier was barking ferociously, we woke up and went downstairs to find our gate rattling. Someone had tried to enter our premises but our dog chased them away.

Nothing but the truth said. Animals' love and devotion for humans are pure and unconditional.

They can't match up to our intelligence, but they're indeed capable of unexpected noble deeds that outshine what most humans are capable of.

Seems like the dog was observing her owner attentively and decided it was the best way to act.

Yeah, they can be better than us, dismissing the fact that some of them are endangered.

@Ladypeace I was saying about eagles that endangered mostly by human hunters. But it seems to me that we are talking here mostly dogs.Dogs are common with intelligence because we can observe them daily. How about seals they have much intelligence too and dolphins.

The average dog has the intelligence of a 2 year old human. This shows that it doesn't take a lot of intellect to be kind and compassionate towards others.

Dogs have their innocence and are selfless. Humans on the other hand...

Yes - in humanity (although not always the case). That's the point I'm trying to make.

Our pets will go through a lot of stuff to protect their owners.

That's true, my dog protected me when my brother tried to hit me when I was little. He barked and bit his arm when he raised it.
