We are on a winter storm warning, with a 90% chance of snow tomorrow, with the beginning of that storm hitting us later today.
Since our maintenance guys take forever to come and shovel. We've asked for a snow shovel several times, so that we can clear a path from our door to the street, but to no avail.
This morning, when I took the cat poop to the dumpster, I found a really good snow shovel leaning against the dumpster. In our little apartment complex, we all put things we no longer use by the dumpster, for anyone that needs it, to take.
And there it was. And just in time, too.
Yes to free snow Snow Shovels, And thanks to whomever left it there.

Be careful. Flooding knocked quite a few of Manitou businesses out a couple years ago.

Goodness. I hope you'll be safe. That is a bit worrying.

The funny thing is, it didn't snow enough to use it.

@infatuatedbby - Oh, maybe sooner. March and April are traditionally our worst months.

They made this sound like it was going to be the storm of the century. I don't think the shovel will be necessary today, honestly.

Maybe this is more karma for you! There is a story about a small chest of drawers being put out on the roadside. Usually these things are picked up quickly. When it didn't go, they put a sign $5 on it and it was stolen within five minutes. Maybe it's an urban myth.

I don't know. Some people will steal anything, but apparently not when it's free in the first place.

We have off-site maintenance guys, and we're not the highest priority of all their properties. I'd rather do some myself than wait.

Hate to break it to you but while you are shoveling snow, we in Southern California are frolicking in warm sunshine.

Yes, I am envious. But it's part of living in Colorado, so at least now I can deal with it easier.
