That mini tornado that visited us last July chopped up several trees but they have now shot back and some are yielding. Of them the most yielding is the starfruit. I see more fruits than leaves. They used to be a haven for parrots. However since the branches are now very low almost touching the ground no parrot dares to approach the tree. I am sad. We do not need those fruits. It used to be a nice sight when those parrots visited that tree.

I can well understand why you miss such a site because a parrot is a colourful and attractive bird.

It is their chatter more than their colour that I miss. To spot them sometimes is not easy.

@allknowing If they keep on constantly chattering then they must all be female parrots.

perhaps with the limbs so near the ground 'n no need fer the fruits ya could jest remove the flowers once they've done their show 'n give those trees more'f a chance to climb upwards?? i'd be most disappointed losin' the sight'f those beautiful parrots myself if'n such occurred. jest a matter'f time though i reckon 'fore it'll all be righted :D

There are a few branches that may reach heights.

Here in our country, you wouldn't see them flying around. Someone is bound to catch them for profit.

I have stopped that here. There used to be a group of boys who would chase them and trap them. I spoke to them and requested them to give them their freedom. Seems they have understood.

That's a shame that the trees aren't high enough for the parrots.

Hopefully the trees will soon grow up a little and the parrots will come back.

There are a few branches that will grow higher and then I am sure I will see parrots again.
