" Family bonding at the plaza "

Because today is the day off of my son from his work, we make a decision to do our routine this afternoon, we walk together in the oval and this can be found in our plaza. After 15 minutes of brisk walking, I sweat a lot already but my son doesn't, so he decided to run at the oval. We continue our routine until an hour and we came home, sweating a lot. He asked us that every 5 days, we'll walk together in the plaza so that he'll be motivated to run if he has companion and considered as family bonding. How about you friends, do you walk also or run as your daily routine? I did this to have a healthy lifestyle.

I like to brisk walk but now I like to swim.

You can brisk walk in the morning and swim in late afternoon.

@ida123 i must have somebody when i walk, and I have to be with somebody when I swim, but the pool is 3 kilometers far from our house.

@Yar_Joey What do you mean by that? You must be with somebody when you walk and with somebody when you swim, did you meet an accident and you need someone you can hold or like a walker?

I tried to do brisk walking but unfortunately it's not enough for me to sweat or loose weight.

My second son was like you, he did brisk walking, jogging but he never loose weight. He tried the gym with instructor, they help him also about his intake and now he lost 15 kls, before he weighs 112 kls and now he is 97 kls.

I prefer brisk walking than running because I'm at age and might ruin my knees.

There are times when me and my son walk to an SM mall because we have a private road in our subdivision that connect and leads straight to SM, that's why it's very safe, then we do more rounds when we get to the parking lot.

My husband and I walk together every evening. We haven't done that for a month since I have developed some problems with my feet. I love our time together.. I want to get back to it as soon as the doctor gives me a clean chit.

Hi, my dear Ida! You have a healthy bonding moment with your kids! Wow! My dearly beloved & I do that too every Saturday at a university oval nearby our house. It's a worthwhile activity. We talk while we walk. After a rest, we partake of breakfast, still just the 2 of us.

This is a good idea. It is much more fun to walk, run or do any sort of exercise with someone else.
