Happy Hour at Claim Jumper!

Claim Jumpers Happy Hour
United States
February 27, 2016 12:24am CST
Not hungry for a meal - appetizers could definitely fill you up! My boyfriend and I don't go during Happy Hour very often, but if you do - you can catch a lot of great deals, for us it's like trying out the selection to see if we will come back for the entrees. We ordered: - Soft Pretzel Sticks $2 - Mini Caesar Salad $3 - Mini Pepperoni Pizza $4 - Irish Nachos $4 - Wings $5 Everything was tasty - wouldn't pay full price for the appetizers but eventually we've tried the entrees and they're just as good. This is at Claim Jumpers. Do you often dine at restaurants during Happy Hour? I know on Fridays - a lot of co-workers/friends would invite each other out to grab a drink/appetizer.

Happy Hours does not exist in most European countries. Our restaurants start to serve dinner from 7 PM.

Can you still order dinner earlier if you want or do you have to wait until 7pm. I eat dinner at like 530-630pm latest.

@LadyDuck That makes a lot of sense. I have never been to Europe - but it is nice to learn the customs there.

@infatuatedbby NO, no restaurant in Europe opens before 7 PM and they start to serve you at 7:30, if you want to eat earlier you can always make your dinner at home, but as people works until 6:30 / 7 PM I do not see how they can eat at that time

Happy Hour rocks. I used to always make sure to hit it. I still do, just not as often. I've eaten at Claim Jumper before. It's really good.

@infatuatedbby - I only eat them if they are extra crunchy.

The mini pizza looks quite big! I think the meal is really worthwhile. If you time it in such a way that it becomes a late lunch, and an early dinner, you basically pay for 2 meals in one.

Yes - also some restaurants here have a 2 for $20 deal where you can get one appetizer and 2 full sized entrees for 20 bucks which is what we do sometimes too.

That's not something restaurants are into around here.

Most of the restaurants I go to have a Happy Hour. I guess it's popular where I am from he-he.

I would go for everything on your menu and leave out the pepperoni pizza. But that's just me. Looks like an amazing spread of goodies! I haven't dined at restaurants during happy hour, care to explain some of the perks?

@infatuatedbby Oh wow you've explained it really well. I would also take the opportunity to try different dishes on the menu during Happy Hour. I love pizza too just not pepperoni ones
