Tam-Awan Village

The "ber" month in Baguio City is one of the favorite destinations of tourists. Last 2011, a colleague of mine from Manila asked a favor to tour around her co-volunteer in Mongolia. I agree to fetched her American friend in Victory Liner station, then bring to her place to stay for a night. The following day, we used a car to go around the city. The sunny day gave the time to enjoy the scenic tourist spots in Baguio. After having lunch in La Azotea at Upper Session Road, we proceed to Tam-Awan Village in Long-Long Road. I admit that as a resident in this city, this is my first time to see the place and it was a worth to view the native nipa huts in mountain terrain, as you climb up the trails.
Tam-Awan Village is located in Pinsao Proper, Baguio City. It is famous for reconstructions of Philippines traditional wooden houses. Tam-awan now has seven ...

There are places around here that I've only seen because we've taken tourists there.

@Shavkat Sorry, I didn't mean I'd been to the Philippines. I meant some places close to us I hadn't seen until we had visitors and took them there.

We visited Tam-awan village last December. The road to that place is not that easy but our tourist guide drove for us and we loved the place.
