I felt tired and uneasy when some members of the house is not feeling well, I always check his bp and sugar if it is in normal level.
When it is above, I tried to give the maintenance so that it become normal. I let him take a rest and I'll do all the chores, preparing the foods and all the errands in the house. It seems, I'm also sick because I always go to the comfort room to pee and poo, I think my intestine is straight because what I eat is also what I discharge.
My God, please make my heart stay stable so that I can breath normally.
How about you friends, is that your reaction when someone in your house not feeling well?

I know how you feel. With my family taking care of our father with leukemia its not easy at all. My mother worries about my father's food because he could no longer tolerate solid foods and I take care of the rest. I do the blood extractions for his complete blood count, I am the one incharge to insert an intravenous line, give medications, instruct my sibling how to turn sides , how to clean up. We barely have enough sleep plus the added pressure of whether to admit him for transfusion or just do it as out patient because of money constraints. It was not easy at all but try to stay calm . if its a maintenance medication then follow the prescription .

I can relate your situation now because I have a nephew when he was still 8 years old, he suffers lymbhoplastic leukemia and all or us were so worried and stress of his situation and thanks God, he's safe now, he's already 28 years old and the only thing I can advise you, pray a lot, ask God's guidance for enlightenment and ask your siblings to cooperate in helping your Dad to fight this ailment, I know you will pass this situation. I also pray for your Dad's health that he can recover soon. Yes, I will do and take your advise, thanks friend.

Sorry for your loss, I know it's sad but you can make it. Just bear it in your mind that, he is in God's hand now.

That is my reaction when my husband is not feeling well, I know he is a diabetic person and should monitor his sugar level regularly and the worst, I'm afraid that he might get sick again like he was admitted in ICU for a week, that time he has electrolyte imbalance and he had a slight stroke because of that imbalance. Anyway, his sugar level now down to 100 not like yesterday, he got 250 and thanks God, he's fine now, friend.

As a mother, I think we might be more tiring and worrying when the children fall sick.
When my children are not feeling well, I always ask them to take more rest and drink more water. I don't usually do more than usual, but sometimes sick children might be a little more demanding as they are not feeling well. Glad that they usually get well very soon. When my husband is sick, he also just needs to sleep more, I just have to do the rest of the work. I am the one who is the unhealthiest in the family.

Gosh! I understand what happens to you. That frequent pee & poop is a sign of tension/stress, my dear Ida. Relax. Take deep breaths. Drink warm water. Hum a favorite song. Watch comedy shows on the tv.
Honestly? It's been decades & I haven't taken care of a sick member of our family, thanks God!
Why? Because it seems I took all the possible ailments that could be suffered from by any of my loved ones. I prayed for that, so, this could be the reason.
I am, most of the days in the week, the one my loved ones take care of.

Ha, ha, this is what I felt when someone in the house is not feeling well since my children was still kids, oh, I always felt this way and I prayed a lot because this is the only armor we can use or defeat this bad feelings. Good that your family members are feeling good and sound and we must be thankful for that friend.

I am calm. Rushing or bothering ourselves will not bring good.

since I am a nurse, when either my sister or my son is sick, I make it a point to know how they feel. we divide the household responsibilities that is why when i was sick, I did not do the dog foods and wash the dishes.

In our house too, when my son has off duty I let him do the inside chores, I'll do the washing and my husband will prepare our foods but when someone got sick, the other responsibility will be absorbed by the other who is physically fit.
