Ganging up on Donald Trump by Cruz and Rubio May Backfire!

Ganging up by Rubio and Cruz on Donald Trump may not be a bad idea. It only signifies their extreme desperation. I believe most Americans are not happy with the Obama administration. In fact, I understand most Americans are angry. President Obama is African-American. Most Americans may be saying - - "Enough with these half-half politicians; let us go for Donald Trump!" Okay, this is just what I think, I may be wrong. But wait - - 46% of Latinos in Nevada even voted for Donald Trump, I may be right!

I don't think Mr. Obama's race has much to do with the anger that you sense from American voters. The ineffectual system is enough to drive anyone batty. I've been calling for an end to the electoral college since 8th grade civics class, and that was—well, I'll be kind and say that it was before Mr. Obama had set out on his political career. I've been registered to vote without party affiliation for 20 years. I see both of the main parties as magnets for extremists. They're too busy fighting the other guys to do anything. A pox on both their houses, I say! Donald Trump speaks to that sort of anger, but he offers no alternative. He's just another flavor of empty windbag.

LOL . . I agree with you about your comment on Donald Trump - - empty windbag. But why the heck an empty windbag is winning against more than a dozen (originally) GOP moderate windbags like Rubio, Cruz, and Jeb Bush?!

@msiduri Do you think he will be the GOP nominee?

@antonbunot He's loud, brash, angry, and not a politician. He's an outsider. He's something new. I think that's his appeal.

Yes, I think most Americans are fed up with Obummer. Especially when he tries to get around Congress and put his own laws into effect. This is a democracy, not a dictatorship.

But going around congress, when every thing he does is considered wrong by the GOP opposition, is part of being president. He is not breaking the law. So, I think doing what is legal is not dictatorship.

@antonbunot You know we had a war over being taxed without representation. Obama trying to ram down our throats what he think ought to be law just because he thinks it ought be law does not make it a democracy. Congress is there to represent the people who elected them. If these people elected their Congressman then what the Congressman is there for is to block Obama from doing what the people do not want him doing. If the people don't like what their Congressman is doing they can vote the Congressman out. But Obama trying to write an Executive Order to put laws into place by bypassing Congress is not legal. The only time Obama follows the Constitution is when it benefits him.

@RichardMeister If executive order (to put laws into place by bypassing congress) is not legal, then Prez Obama is not that dumb to do a thing that is not legal. He is a president and he for sure knows what is legal for him to do as president.

I have to suppose that the Latinos in Nevada love to be insulted, or may be they do not understand very well English.

@antonbunot Yes, sure he is speaking about ILLEGAL, but he is also speaking to give back jobs to AMERICANS. People are so short minded.

LOL . . . . I am sure they speak and understand English. What I am thinking is Donald Trump' comment is all about ILLEGAL immigrants. And I believe that those 46 percent latinos who voted for Trump are not happy with illegal immigrants (latinos and others) taking their jobs.

@amadeo . . that is what I believe, too. Prez Obama has done and is still doing a good job. But American politics like most politics in this world is dirty. The opposition always see nothing good from a current administration.

@JohnRoberts Prez Obama and ex-Prez Bush are politicians . . I guess you should try one that is not a member of the GOP or DEM establishment . . And that would be Donald Trump. He may end up the best president of the good USA! You never know!

I respectfully disagree with you. My life is much worse today as a direct result of Mr. Obama. But I didn't like Bush either!

No, Americans are not unhappy with Obama because he is half Black. I get tired of the race card being played any time someone expresses unhappiness with the president. People are unhappy with how he has conducted his office and with elitist politicians and government in general. Cruz has a very caustic personality that turns people off while Rubio is a very pleasant sincere fellow but wishy washy on his stances. There would not be a Trump if there had been better candidates.

@JohnRoberts Well, it is just what I think . . that is why I wrote I may be wrong. So, no one of the canidates (past and current) is better or more qualified than Donald Trump?! I thought Jeb Bush and Chris Christie were better candidates than Trump . . !

@JohnRoberts So it appears Hillary is the best choice! She got adequate experience as far as foreign policy is concerned. She was a senator, foreign secretary, first lady, and wife of one of the best presidents of the United States! If I were American I would vote for her.

@antonbunot It depends on the definition of qualified and what a voter desires in a candidate. The biggest consideration is winnability not ability and talent. Sad, but true. Obama had limited experience but won on likability and a smooth easy way. Cruz is probably the most qualified but he turns way too many people off. Same with Christie. Bush is a Bush enough said. I do like Rubio and thought he had potential for wide appeal but his campaign just can't seem to get anywhere.
