Will I vote in the 2016 US Presidential election?

This may be the first Presidential election that I won't vote for anyone. Yes, I know, if I don’t vote, I can’t complain about the results and that’s OK. Who could I vote for? We have candidates who insist they are running for us, not themselves. Please. I am not that stupid. We have kind, gentle candidates who speak softly but unfortunately also carry soft sticks. Kind and gentle won’t make it in this ugly race. We have candidates with grand dreams possibly too radical to win the general election. We have liars (more than one), some that actually make my skin crawl. We have others accused of having orange skin, big ears, short stature, small hands, perspiration problems, urinary bladder issues, narcissistic tendencies, trophy wives, etc. Should I be concerned with any of these issues? Do they rank up there with ISIS or the economy or health care? I will admit I was enjoying the race somewhat up to now, more the entertainment part of it than the serious part. I was partially rooting for Bernie, although I most likely wouldn’t vote for him. I was also slightly rooting for Trump for some unexplainable reason, although I most likely wouldn’t vote for him either. That was then. This is now, especially after the idiotic political-scene weekend that just transpired. Hillary is making her move and Bernie will most likely fall by the wayside. The Republicans have finally gone way beyond entertainment to way beyond asinine. Things are bad.

@Hatley It really is a shame when politics (or religion) come between friends. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion.

I am feeling pretty much the same way, I have no idea what I will end up doing but it isn't promising. I think I might have to decide on Hilary since it is a two-fer but it makes me sick really!!

Maybe something will happen or someone new will enter the race and help us all out! I really dislike the viciousness of everything.

I am voting, (though not saying here who I'm voting for) mainly on the principle that if I vote, I can "complain." There's one person of the two (though neither would be very good) that I absolutely don't want to see in the White House, so I'm voting for the other. Whoever gets in, God's still in charge ultimately, anyway.

It would have been great if we had a few better candidates to choose from and not make it so hard.

I'm not voting for Hilary even if she were the only one running, but like you, I've no clue who I will be voting for if anyone at all. I missed whatever you saw this weekend.

It was all the news about the KKK and Trump and Rubio and Trump back and forth on who has small hands, who uses orange spray tan, etc., just absurb childish stuff.

I am a firm believer in participating in the governments gift to us, the right to vote.. If we don't vote the idiots who vote for fools just might win. If that happens who's fault is that. We have a long time to choose, By the time to use that ballot the way to vote will be right there in front of our nose...I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

You are right and I hope I do end up voting. I do think a lot could happen before election day to help me make up my mind.

I don't envy any American trying to decide who to vote for. It all looks a bit of a shambles.

In all my years of voting, I've never seen anything like this. I never had trouble picking a favorite and now I really can't think of anyone I want to vote for, not yet anyway.

It is a sad state of affairs though I will vote because I believe not voting is supporting the strongest candidate. (In this case, Trump). What a mess the whole thing is.

I am thinking that you should be able to vote for 'None of the above'. It would allow people to register disatisfaction with the candidates and parties. Don't know if it would change politics, but it would make me feel better!

"None of the above" would be a good option. At least I could feel that I participated!
