How cruel my wife is.....

Oh ....sometimes I think how cruel my wife is
. She beats , 
scolds kids whole day during exams. Sometimes the things become so intolerable that we both fight for the issue and ultimately I have to keep quite as she says she can't compromise with their studies and I have to leave that room.
I am really surprised how much a mother ambitious for her kids to get good grades which I am not. I am not sure if she is wrong or the way I think is not right.

That is real bad. I would definitely oppose specially when it comes to comparisons. 8 year is too young to understand what education is and why is it essential. And beating will only make them obstinate.
I hope they dont read newspapers and land up filing a case of Abuse against their mom

It's time to be the man of the house and tell her in no uncertain terms that this abuse is going to stop NOW or you will throw her out of the house @sjvg1976 . It's one thing to have rules and consequences, it's quite another to beat the children over homework and to disrespect you.

It's not good to beat and scold kids a whole day to do their schoolwork. Are you homeschooling your children? School is important but if children are treated that way they could lose any interest in schoolwork.

Ask her to calm down. Beating kids often teaches them violence is alright which is a wrong notion to grow up with. Each child id unique and needs a different type of attention. Continuing in the same way will only bring disastrous results in the future.

I think that's the way she discipline your children so that they will study hard and to have good grades but that is not the way to rare the children, just talk to them always, give them advises that having good grades is good and also talk to your wife, just the two of you and tell her to stop this kind of disciplining your children.

Your wife beats tour children I want to tell you up to a extent it's not good. I am not saying children should not be punished but if you punished them lot it will be not good.infact they get more out of control. Try to teach them with love and other way .it's not a way to all time best the children.
