It happens nearly every time I have a cup of coffee. I can never fishin it. I need like one of those hot spots for my coffee to keep my coffee warm because I'm a mom. As a stay at home mom/babysitter I get caught up in to everything with the kids that I lose when my coffee is or put it down and never come back to it till I remember I had coffee and I need to drink it. Being a parent you got with out food and drink for most of the day because your running around with your head cut off doing god knows what and then your too pooped to care (exhausted). This morning I have yet to finish my coffee I'm standing here in the kitchen listening to the three boys playing and trying not to sneeze on them so it stsying a distances away and yet my coffee is now cold and gave to reward in the microwave. Another around to the unfinished coffee!

I always have to heat my coffee up. It's sitting right next to me but then I get to looking around the internet and next thing you know it's cold. I hate cold coffee so in the microwave it goes. Sometimes more than once for the same cup lol.

@ShyBear88 I run around the house looking for my cup and the whole time it's where I put it. In the microwave, and by the time I find it there I have to heat if up again lol.

This happens to me all the time! Especially when I'm busy writing. I forget about it, for god knows how long. Randomly, I remember it, take a sip and blah ice cold! Nothing worse than the taste of cold coffee.

There is a thermos that keeps the coffee hot. If I go to the garage, they give me a small cup of coffee, no sugar, strong coffee, from the thermos. Take a strong coffee in a small glass, I think it can work. :-) I see you stay at home and take care of the kids. That's a big duty on your shoulders, you are their mom and they depend on you to educate them, love them, feed them and make them happy, healthy, and more. No wonder you need coffee, but, maybe you can get some advice about how to educate them to be nice and cooperate with you so you all have good time and joy. In my country, some parents call a super nanny to advice them how to behave with the kids and the kids become nicer and loyal, the family becomes happy. This is a TV show called super nanny.

Nope don't need supper nanny's help the kids all different age the older ones I can let them be at play and do things around the house, but the 13 month old, and 2 year old nope. The baby gets into everything so I have to physically watch him up till he sleeps to make sure he doesn't hurt himself, the big kinds don't hurt him. He fallows me around the house. He is to young to understand mommy needs to get this or that done. So we play, watch some tv like pbs where you can learn to read and stiff. The 5 and 6 year old have school one only goes for 3 hours a day and the other full day. The 3 year old,is stuck with me and the younger two. It gets better with age.

@ShyBear88 I guess you know what you are doing. It sounds challenging to me taking care of the kids and drink some coffee. Coffee needs some privacy, some quality time with its drinker. It's not like a glass of water that one drinks when doing other stuff. Coffee drinking is like a ritual. I think you can share this ritual with the older kids. Maybe you can drink some hot cocoa with the kids instead of drinking coffee alone. You can teach them how fun is to drink hot cocoa slowly, let them enjoy every sip, close their eyes and imagine chocolate melts in their mouth, imagine they can fly... :-))) They will understand your need to drink hot coffee.

@stringer321 my daughter likes tea they don't drink chocolate just yet they don't get it. They like to pretend to drink coffee or stair there own with their tea set, if it was cold coffee I liked I would have no problems.
