As I was a fan of the original, at first I was a bit sceptic about checking this show out. I have seen reboots of old shows in the last few years. Mainly Boy Meets Worlds Reboot Girl Meets World. Though the show is okay, I found it more in the class of preteen TV. Even though I loved Boy Meets World, when I checked out its reboot, I didn't feel the same magic as the original show had. Yet because I was a fan of Full House, and practically grew up with the child Characters, I felt the need to t least check it out, and I was blown away. I sat down to watch the Pilot with my 11 year old son, who has never experienced the family sitcoms like we had in the 90's and barely watches anything other than youtube. Admittedly like Girl meets World I figured that the show wouldn't have the same impact as it's original. That it might appeal to this generation on some level but not to the previous one from Full House. I figured that the show would hold no resemblence to the original and therefore would not appeal to me... but I was wrong. Unlike most reboots/spin-offs of the shows of old that we loved, Fuller House doesn't try to stand alone from it's Original series. It merely picked up from the story 29 years later. The pilot actually made me cry, and from the opening scene on the magic of Full House came back to life in a new and exciting way. On top of that, my 11 year old son... he likes the show too and is now constantly asking me about the previous show. To the point he wont let me watch Fuller House without him and insists that when hes done with the season, he must watch all 8 Seasons of Full House before Season 2 comes on Netflix. I was blown away. Family sitcoms like Full House practically died out when the show was canceled. After that it was all about reality TV, like Survivor and Fear Factor. To thisday until now there aren't many sitcoms around, and none of them have ever captured the magic nor devotion s the ones from the 80's and 90's. Like Full House. To see my son experience and enjoy the same type of TV I grew up with also brought tears to my eyes. Finally he enjoys something wholesome. That doesn't involve youtubers screaming and cursing at video games all day. The magic of Full House was that the children enjoyed watching just as much as the parents did. Now Fuller House has brought that back drawing in this generation while keeping the previous two. Obviously, I'm not the only one who feels this way. Everywhere you turn on the internet is something about Fuller House. The show has only been released five days, and it has already been locked in for a renewal fora second season. So what do you all think? Have you seen the show yet? If not, you should... no matter if you were a fan or not!

I believe in its young life it has become a mega hit. Also got to love the Olsen jabs. I've been getting the feeling they are attempts of trying to guilt at least one of them into at least guest staring in the second season.

@enlightenedpsych2 Lots of people have both because Netflix is also a Network. It has loads of Original shows like Fuller House you can't get from anyone else. Plus Any show on Netflix from Networks on your cable company, canceled or current, Netflix has permissions to air.

@enlightenedpsych2 No, it is not free but my payment allows 3 other of my friends to watch also. If one likes movies and TV it is a real good deal. It is the only thing I have ever bought through myLot. I am not disappointed. Only thing, I am always watching movies. I have little control. I need to work on moderation.

We haven't finished either. With my son being 11 and in school. Him allowing me to watch without him slows us down. Hoping to finish it over the weekend.

@indiandevil my oldest has school for 3 hours a day. PreK age but the other will watch pretty much anything. I can watch it without my girl if the kids let me put it on. They like to control the tv and I don't fight with them about it since they like watching all those educational stuff about dinosaurs.

@ShyBear88 Indeed, kids do tend to rule the TV, I know mine does.
