I think I may have mentioned in another discussion that I have discovered clumps of daffodils and tulips in my yard. I just found some more.
These in the back yard are closer to blooming, although there is no color yet.
It is a wonder there are any out back. It is not a proper bed. The tenants often drove all over the yard. Or had fires.
But here they come!!

wooho! don'tcha love seein' 'em comin' out? the daff's 've been bloomin' here fer nearly a month (sporadic lil suckers) 'n the grape hyacinths 're jest now startin' to show a bit'f color... 'long with the bradford pear which's most unfortunate coz those weather folks're predictin' 'nother cold front next week that jest might do the latter in.
bulbs're purty hearty, fortunately. 'round here i lose 'em to grubs/gophers most oft.

I have snails here. I do not know what they will kill but they tried to get into my house plants.

The parks there where you live are gorgeous. We are always at the KKOA LeadSled and that park has some of the neatest plantings.

They are very hardy plants and will grow anyplace even under bad conditions.

They are not open yet, so just a picture of the beginning. I will share pictures when they open.
