Lovey

Many children have a Lovey. It's a doll, blanket, or whatever that is you know your childs security. This is the thing that you know you can let go off because if you do your child will be heartbroken. Each of my kids have one. My daughter has a mermaid that is called mermaid Maddy it's named after self and she has had it since she was two years old. My middle son his is a stuffed horse that he has had since he was about two and I remember buying it for him, but he also has a big thing for giraffes he has for of them and he sleeps with them all. He is now pretty attached to a pillow that is like a pillow pet but its not. He loves his blankets to because I made them and there for they are so special to him. Yes I know he has a lot he is a sensitiveness boy and these objects mean the world to him as of right now. My youngest boy he has no real attachments other then his binky just yet. I'm sure once he no longer has the binky he will go for something to replace his little friend like his sister did. This isn't uncommon for children it helps them cope with the world. I still have my two loves and they are in our house and my kids play with them both. My bunny named Bun bun and my monkey that was given to me at birth his name is Monk Monk but my kids call them different names. Does your child have a lovey?
