Getting The Run Around....

Canada

I'm getting so angry right now with my reloadable Visa and my bank it isn't even funny. At 10pm on March 1st 2016, I transferred $156.50 from my bank to my card. To pay my Internet bill that's Due Today or my account with them gets suspended. 2 Minutes later I get an email from my Visa that tells me the funds failed to load. I go into my bank account the Money isn't returned. I wait an hour but still no money has been returned from my card to my account. I contact an agent from my Visa, he tells me, "Don't worry sometimes it takes 2-24hrs for the funds to be returned." So I wait. I get up on Wednesday morning, send my son to school. Check my account. Still nothing. So I wait until 10pm Wednesday night. I then contact an agent from Visa yet again. The agent informs me that it can take up to two business days for the funds to be returned, and if the money is not returned by then they will investigate. I get up this morning still nothing, I contact Visa yet again. This time in no way nice at all. I explained a third time and added "Where the F- is my money." I'm then told to email proof of the transfer, email stating it failed and proof it wasn't returned, and that another agent will contact me from there. That was three hours ago. It's Friday my bank itself closes in an hour, until Monday. My Bill is due today, my money has still not been returned to my account and I have yet to get response to the email I sent. If my isp does not get their money by tonight, my home phone and internet will be suspended leaving me no way to get back the money. If it was a small sum, I wouldn't even give a hoot! Yet we are talking $156.50 That just up and vanished out of thin air here and no one can seem to tell me where it went!

That is terrible. you are getting the run around, and that isn't right at all. It seems like the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. That happens way to much too. I wish for you the best, and I hope it gets resolved today, so you don't ose our internet.

That's so unfortunate. The Visa card service needs to do better. They need to not only expedite your money but give you something for the inconvenience. That has to be frustrating. I hope there's a resolution soon.

You should have done this early enough, nothing is guaranteed and leaving things to the last minute can bring too much dissapointment. Better luck next time

I have been trying to settle the problem since it happened.... I can't see how this is somehow my fault like you seem to be suggesting?

@indiandevil I was talking in general, try taking care of stuff earlier than running around in the last minute because if l leave it too late, I'm so freaked out nothing works because l make all the unnecessary mistakes.

I hate when these things happen. It is as if we are talking to a miachine. I had a situation with the person that handles my account at the bank. I called her up because really needed something done and had to know if she could do it. When I got to the bank and she went into my account she said she couldn't do but on the phone she checked my account and told she couldn't. That was first lie. She played games with me to provoke me and I thought I cannot go back to her again and hope I can find someone else to help me and listen to me and not take her side.
