Just call me Patch, the Pirate.

So on Friday, February 25th, I had another surgery, but only on my right eye. I didn't realize they would be burning more tissue (I had had that surgery on both eyes a couple months ago, and it went fine.), but they did, as well as the planned vitamin treatment. Calling it the vitamin treatment makes it sound so simple, but healing from the vitamin treatment is taking longer to heal than anything else I've had done. I used to sit on my couch, and close my left eye (because the surgeries on it fixed my vision problems). And before, I could see the numbers on the TV clock with my right, but not read all of them clearly. Now with my right eye I can't even tell if they are numbers. They could have been letters and I wouldn't know.
Despite this, I'm not too worried. They said at my checkup on March 2nd that it could be six weeks before the haziness fades. By now, I have learned to be patient. The only thing is that with one eye great and one eye bad, I'm getting terrible nausea. I wonder if using a patch, just when I'm at home, would help.
*Sunday school or church youth group leaders, does Patch the Pirate ring any bells?

Has it been that long? I hope both of your eyes are better now and I know your dad will be thrilled once this is over.
As for Patch and Pirate, I wasn't a teacher or leader, so I guess I don't know who that is, but now I have to find out..

@AmbiePam Then I may have played a video or two when my son was younger.

If it will help with the nausea, then go for it, though you might want to check with the doc first. If that's going to cut off the air supply to that eye it might do more damage than good.

@marlina No, I just turned thirty-five last week, although I'm sure some have cataracts that early. Just not me. I My left eye was a success months ago so I have great vision in it, 20/20. My right eye is terrible. It will clear up, they just had to do more surgeries on it. So one is clear as a bell, and the other is currently 20/500. The juxtaposition of those two vision scales makes a person see life in a nauseating way. Even my depth perception is off, and I've got bruises to prove it.
